Looking good
Here are some suggestions for looking your best for your senior session.
Clothing
Long sleeves are preferred over short sleeves. And we DO NOT recommend that tank tops or sleeveless shirts be worn.
Solid colors are better than loud prints and stripes. If you do choose to wear a print, make sure that it is subtle. Loud prints will over power the photograph and distract from you.
Come dressed from HEAD TO TOE. Be prepared for 3/4 and full length poses. Do not wear shorts with your shirt and ties.
Iron your outfits ahead of time. Wrinkled clothing will look wrinkled in your portrait.
Make sure all outfits fit appropriately before you arrive for your session.
Hair
It is very important that your hair is the way you want it when you come in for your session.
Hair is costly to retouch for the finished portrait.
If you plan on cutting it for your session, it is best to do it a week or two beforehand. DO NOT wear a hat to your session.
We encourage you to bring any styling products that may be needed for touch-ups, such as hairspray or gel.
Make-up
We do not recommend that make-up be overdone, as it will look overdone in the finished portrait.
Glasses
Some types of glasses tend to glare under the studio lights. We suggest that you stop at your optometrist prior to your session and have the lenses removed. |
